- 4 / 5By Jack RyanThis is it: the Grand Central Station of Athens, Ohio. The store has everything I need food-wise, plus Starbucks, a pharmacy, and the other usual add-ons. You can even buy a pack of t-shirts, which I find sort of funny for a grocery store. Don't buy anything here unless your registered with them for a Kroger Plus card; otherwise you'll needlessly pay quite a bit more, and miss out on the electronic coupons, too. It's generally a very well run place, even fun to go to because you're never sure who you'll run into but you almost certainly will meet somebody you know. I gave it a one-star reduction because the parking lot is a zoo and frankly, is too small. Also, their WiFi never seems to work and has been configured incorrectly. That's important if you want to access your Kroger Plus account and check on coupons, the Free Friday Download, and more. They do employ a number of special needs people which is great to see. All in all a great store in Athens.August 10, 2016
